This collection contains material relating to the Foundation’s Canadian Program, EleV, which was initially rolled out in 2017 as a pilot with Vancouver Island University and Yukon University (previously known as Yukon College) to double the enrollment and graduation rates of Indigenous students in post-secondary education. Based on the success of this initial pilot, the program was launched nationally in 2022 to enable 100,000 Indigenous youth to complete post-secondary education, transition to work, and strengthen their communities across Canada. Built on co-creation, listening, learning, respect, reciprocity, and commitment, EleV supports Indigenous solutions to transform systems of education and employment to better serve and meet the needs of Indigenous youth. Materials within the EleV Program collection include roadmaps, reports, impact stories, publications, podcasts, and images relating to EleV events, initiatives, and programs.
