Abstract
This document reports on the Young Ghana Works Design Workshop, held on August 16-17, 2018 in Toronto. The workshop was attended by key representatives from the Government of Ghana, the private sector, and Mastercard Foundation. The purpose of the meeting was to brainstorm breakthrough ideas to advance the Young Ghana Works strategy and accelerate impact, prioritize entry points in high-growth sectors and identify opportunities for disruption, and identify champions and collaboratively establish a timeline with short- and long-term milestones. The report includes key takeaways, priority sectors, approach, and next steps.
