- This document contains the remarks for Reeta Roy for the United Nations High-Level Event on the Demographic Dividend and Youth Employment, Trusteeship Council Chamber. The High Level Panel 2: “What policies and measures are needed to create opportunities for youth employment?” was held on June 1st, 2015 in New York. The remarks discuss the transition from school to work as a key focus of cooperation between the MasterCard Foundation and the ILO, the priorities in development cooperation that could improve youth employment and the role of foundations, and what can be done to ensure secondary and higher education systems are connected to pathways towards employment.
