Abstract
This gender brief is a complement to the Secondary Education in Africa: Preparing Youth for the Future of Work Report, that was published in August of 2020. Drawing on the previous SEA Report, this Gender Brief takes a gendered look at young people's preparedness for work, specifically young girls and young women, in secondary education in order to provide policy makers and education PR actioners with forward-looking solutions that meaningfully contribute to the acceleration of the continent's economic transformation.
