- Abstract
- This report investigates the transition of past scholars to the employment sector to improve the transitioning of present scholars. It outlines the findings obtained through one-on-one interviews with individuals who obtained education abroad and are currently building careers in Ghana. This research seeks to investigate the challenges individuals, who studied abroad, have faced in their attempt to secure employment after graduation, and how they utilized the opportunities they received to secure or create employment. The goal of this study is to investigate how scholars can transition from the educational sector to the employment sector in their home countries and to provide information to the Mastercard Foundation on ways to support these scholars in this transition.
