Abstract
This report reviews the special challenges Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) faces in catching up with the rest of the world in the provision of secondary education at 2014, explains why this is important, and suggests priority investments to rapidly increase opportunities for most young people in SSA to progress beyond primary education.
