Abstract
This document consists of the final evaluation report of the BRAC Uganda Microfinance Multiplied Project, a partnership between BRAC Uganda and the Mastercard Foundation. The evaluation assesses the project's performance against its objectives for the second phase of funding (2011-2016), including deepening outreach, improving livelihoods for youth, documenting long-term impact, and implementing a sustainability plan. The core of BRAC's approach is the MicroFinance Multiplied (MFM) model, integrating microfinance, livelihoods support, and youth empowerment (ELA). The evaluation methodology involved analyzing performance data, PPI scores, conducting fieldwork with staff and beneficiaries, and consulting stakeholders. The report provides findings on the project's efficiency, effectiveness, relevance, impact on poverty, and sustainability, aiming to inform BRAC, the Mastercard Foundation, and the wider development community.
