- Abstract
- This article, published on October 25, 2018, discusses Mastercard Foundation research that has identified five aspirations of Ghanaian youth. Overall, the research results show that Ghanian youth seek more opportunities and dignified, fulfilling work (often favouring self-employment for autonomy), and that they prioritize contributing financially to their households while balancing pressing present needs with crucial long-term goals.
