- Abstract
- This Summary Report captures insights from EleV partners working toward systems change that supports Indigenous youth in achieving Mino Bimaadiziwin (a good life). The report focuses on transforming education and employment systems to be more inclusive, culturally relevant, and community-led. It highlights how Indigenous youth face barriers such as racism, limited access to resources, and systemic inflexibility. The COVID-19 pandemic underscored the need for mental health support, community-based learning, and digital equity. Central to EleV’s strategy is co-creation with Indigenous communities, uplifting Indigenous knowledge, and reshaping policies and practices to better support youth success and self-determination.
