Abstract
This document provides a Feedback Report from the Scholars Program Global Partner Convening, held in South Africa in October 2014. The three-day event focused on transformation at the Program, Scholar, and Institutional levels. Attendees unanimously affirmed the value of meeting annually, primarily for face-to-face networking and learning. Discussions centred on topics such as Recruitment, Transformative Leadership, and Transitions. Recurring critiques highlighted insufficient time for breakout sessions, sessions being too long (sometimes referred to as "death by panel"), and a general lack of clarity on the next steps or future operational plans laid out by the Foundation. Attendees sought better communication and greater focus on implementation details.
