Abstract
This document includes the package for the 2014 Global Partners Convening hosted by the Mastercard Foundation in South Africa. The convening, held from October 7th to 9th, brought together partners involved in the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program. The agenda included discussions on various aspects of the program, such as supporting scholars in secondary and tertiary education, recruitment strategies, psychosocial well-being, and building a scholars community. A significant focus was on supporting scholars to return to Africa after their studies and exploring the concept of transformative leadership. The package also contains data and research briefings on scholar enrollment, demographics, and early learning from the program.
